Inspiring Girls, guest charity on Mumsnet
Inspiring Girls International is one of the charities that Numsnet, the Uk’s biggest network for parents, have chosen to support during the month of April.
Our campaign, Let’s Get Animated, is featured on the homepage of their website and surely will encourage more women to become volunteers of the Inspiring Girls initiative.
Inspiring Girls’ new campaign to #redrawthebalance reveals the lack of female representation in films children are exposed to, with women making up only 29% of all animated characters.
The pro-bono campaign has been made by leading creative agency MullenLowe London.
Mumsnet was created in 2000 by Justine Roberts and they are now the biggest website for parents, with 10 million visitors per month ver 100 million page views.
She conceived the project after a disastrous holiday. Her idea was to create a website where parents could swap advice about not just holidays but all the other stuff parents talk about. Today, it is the most realiable network for parents who seek for information, advice and support.
