ACCIONA promotes women of the future with Inspiring Girls
Inspiring Girls and ACCIONA have hosted an event with eight female role models and 50 girls aged 12, in Los Peñotes, Alcobendas. With the motto 'Girls without limits: the energy of the future', the event was focused on environmental jobs and the Spanish Minister of Agricultural and Environment, Isabel Garcia Tejerina, gave the keynote speech.
The 50 girls experienced amazing opportunities to speak with six women executives from ACCIONA, Olympic athlete Carlota Castrejana, and the first commander and unit chief of the Operational Air Circulation Squadron of Madrid, María del Pilar Mañas Brugat. The Director of the Climate Change Office in Spain and the Director of Women and Sport from the Ministry of Education also attended to show their support for the campaign.
ACCIONA is the main partner of Inspiring Girls Spain, who also promote internal corporate volunteering initiatives so that employees give talks on inclusion in schools and participate in events across Spain.
